The team are looking for a back-end focused developer with solid experience of digital development to bolster their small team of developers.

This role will be contributing to developing, building and maintaining IWM’s main website and its integrations with any other in-house and third-party systems.

You will also support IWM’s portfolio of other websites which are predominantly Drupal based. IWM core software platforms are Drupal and MS Dynamics 365, with the addition of some bespoke solutions including our DAMS and ticketing systems.

Theatre Technician – LIPA, closes 5 May

Working under the direction of their Lead Theatre Technician, you will be responsible for the provision and maintenance of equipment in their performance spaces.

You will provide technical support to students during rehearsals and productions, maintain a safe and secure workplace, equipment, and materials, supervise students working in the technical and production areas, support students in achieving their learning goals, act as Duty Technician during public performances, and deputise, as and when required, for the Lead Theatre Technician.

Salary £24,144 to £32,411 This is a permanent post to commence from 4 September 2023, or as soon as possible thereafter. Closing date for applications: 5th May. Interview date: 30th May.

Touring Exhibitions Manager – The Lowry, closes 21 Apr

The team are looking for a Touring Exhibitions Manager who will confidently lead on the management and delivery of The Lowry’s new programme of touring exhibitions and loans of signature LS Lowry works.

The successful candidate requires a positive and pro-active approach to creating and maintaining strong relationships with touring venues.

A key part of this role will include researching potential national and international touring venues and managing all elements of those relationships such as venue liaison, administration and touring enquiries.

The successful candidate should be confident in their ability to work closely with curatorial colleagues and collaborate successfully on the creative development of exhibitions, specifically ensuring that all materials can be adapted for tour.

Curator of British Art – National Museums Liverpool, closes 3 May

Reporting to the Head of Walker Art Gallery, this specialist posts offers the opportunity to work with National Museums Liverpool’s internationally significant collection of British art.

Housed across our three art galleries, the Walker Art Gallery, Lady Lever Art Gallery and Sudley House, the collection includes paintings, sculpture, works on paper, video, and installation art, covering the Medieval period to the present day. Our 18th and 19th century collections are particularly rich, and our Victorian and Pre-Raphaelite holdings are amongst the most important in the world.

They are looking for a Curator with a subject specialism in the 18th or 19th century, who can help continue to grow our knowledge and understanding of the collection, in line with the department’s research priorities, which include the surfacing of under-represented histories in our displays and interpretation.

With an exciting vision for the development and display of the collection, you will be passionate about sharing your knowledge and learning from others, with a focus on building an inclusive visitor offer for a diverse audience. Aware of current best practice in the sector and the issues museums and galleries are working with today, you will ensure the British Fine Art collection remains relevant and accessible.
