The programme provides work-based training for those who want to learn new skills and gain a qualification while working.

The Atkinson are looking to recruit an Apprentice who is committed and motivated to complete the 18 month programme.

Your duties will include; helping to plan, develop, organise, assist with and deliver a range of heritage-based workshops, events, projects and community engagement events – particularly focusing on youth audiences and using online content and social networks as appropriate and working alongside the Exhibitions and Learning Officer to deliver school visits and develop their education offer to schools.

Management Accountant – Royal Exchange Theatre, closes 22 July

The Finance team plays an essential role in the running of the Royal Exchange Theatre, processing financial transactions in an accurate and timely manner, providing high-quality information and analysis to the organisation, and operating controls that safeguard their assets.

The management accountant will have overall responsibility for income and the sales ledger, including related systems, in particular the ticketing CRM. The role will also provide business support to managers and budget holders.

Assistant Director – Cream-Faced Loons Theatre Company, closes 7 July

The team are looking for an Assistant Director for their next production Titus Andronicus, supported by ACE.

This role will include working alongside the Director, working practically with the cast and helping form ideas for the production. This role will also require some ASM duties for the performances themselves.

After this production they will also be able to provide materials, space and advice for your own project or any ideas you’d like to try as part of their Trainee Theatre Makers Scheme.

No previous experience is required, just passion and enthusiasm for theatre and Shakespeare!

As always they encourage applications from all backgrounds, especially those who feel underrepresented in the industry. For this production they are also especially interested in working with someone who identities as part of the d/Deaf community.

They are looking for a collaborative individual to help us deliver and expand our wide-ranging public programme of events.  You will have experience of planning and delivering public events, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, strong organisational abilities and a flexible and positive approach to ensuring that all events are high quality, safely delivered and audience focused.

Musical Theatre Teacher – Shooting Star Theatre School, closes 25 July

Shooting Star Theatre School are looking to hire a qualified and experienced Musical Theatre teacher to teach at their studio in Wythenshawe, Manchester.

Musical Theatre experience is desirable but they are accepting applications from Dance/Drama teachers who specialise in other styles too.

The ideal candidate will:

Have experience working with children and young people

Have experience working within the Performing Arts industry either as a performer or teacher

Have a positive and kind attitude

The role will involve teaching 1hour on a Saturday to start with and the potential to add more for the right person. As our school continues to grow we have plans to add some more classes.

Successful candidates must hold a current DBS or apply for a new one before starting.

Their school follows the LCM, LAMDA and IDTA syllabuses for exams. They also host an annual show where our children perform in front of their family and friends.

Operations Administrator – Science Museum Group, closes 6 July

Committed to providing an accessible and engaging environment, the Operations team are looking for a part time Operations Administrator to join them on a fixed term contract until January 2023, for 28 hours per week.

As Operations Administrator, you will provide an efficient and professional administration service across the Operations department. Communicating and liaising with stakeholders across the museum, you will ensure your colleagues and their customers receive a world-class experience.

You will maintain administrative systems and processes for their visitor facing activity but also some financial duties. Often acting as the first point of contact for enquiries, you will also support their ticketing system and will ensure payroll is processed in a timely and accurate way.

You will also support with maintaining spreadsheets for monitoring departmental data, and generally ensuring the team runs smoothly on a day-to-day basis. This will also include raising purchase orders; processing invoice requests; and the admin around balancing the takings from all our commercial activities and museum tills.
