The Development Director/Deputy Executive Director will take lead responsibility for the evolution of the Development function.

This is also an exciting time for the Development team, when they will be refocusing their strategy and designing the team to deliver it.

The Development Director/Deputy Executive Director will be responsible for reshaping, rebuilding and implementing the Theatre’s Development activity, and then hold overall responsibility for the leadership, management and continuous development of the function once it’s been established.

The role will also deputise for the Executive Director, when needed.

Collections & House Officer – National Trust, closes 22 May

Care, conservation, and presentation of Erddig’s eclectic collections is what this leadership role is all about. Alongside the Senior House & Collections Officer you will be responsible for:

  • Care of one of the largest, most diverse and fragile collections in the National Trust
  • Leading the team to manage the opening of the house on a daily basis
  • Supervising a team of Collection Assistants and house volunteers.

Bringing your heritage-sector experience to implement preventive conservation, delivery of their annual deep cleaning programme, and an excellent standard of interpretation and presentation.

Digital Producer & Project Manager – Generations for Change, closes 6 June

A digital producer/film maker is sought by Liverpool City Region Combined Authority (LCRCA) in partnership with Curious Minds; a charity dedicated to improving the lives of children and young people through great art and culture.

Generations for Change was part of the LCRCA Race Equality Programme.

Between March and October 2021, six cultural organisations hosted a Young Producer to carry out research into the lived experiences of young Black, Asian and other diverse Ethnic groups across all boroughs of the city region.

The aim was for the cultural organisations to broker introductions between the Young Producers and relevant local community groups who could engage young people to tell their stories.  The Young Producers could then take the next steps on their employment and skills journey.

This work will help them celebrate and share the stories of the Young Producers as widely as possible and support our long-term campaign to advocate for cross-sector change to achieve racial equality.

20 Stories High’s Associate Director will support the Co-CEO/Artistic Director and Co-CEO/Executive Director in the development and delivery of the company’s artistic programme and strategic vision.

Collaborating with their team and a wide range of artists and young people, they will create excellent, inclusive and unique theatre productions and participatory projects.

This will include an opportunity to create a new national touring show, a Youth Theatre show  and artistically lead a number of participatory, community and professional development projects.

Assistant Music Tutor, Resonate

Resonate, the Music Education Hub for Liverpool, are seeking a number of assistant tutors to work with a lead music tutor in their Resonate Music Studios ensembles and in school settings.

Skills and attributes

Although not an exhaustive list, these are a few of the skills and qualities we would expect in all of our providers:

  • The ability to read music, to play an instrument and to sing in tune;
  • Have experience of playing in a band/ensemble or singing in a choir at any level;
  • Have experience of, and enthusiasm for working, with young children aged 7 – 18 in an ensemble/band or school setting;
  • A willingness to work within a team of professional music educators and learn to teach music as part of a team;
  • Local experience and knowledge of Liverpool communities and cultures;
  • Aspiration to learn more about how children and young people progress in music education;
  • The ability to maintain high professional standards at all times including excellent timekeeping, managing administration, clear and timely communication with schools, parents, students and Resonate.

Part Time Project Officer – The Forum, Barrow in Furness, closes 19 May

Applications are invited for the post of Place Project Officer in the People and Place Directorate, based at the Forum.

The successful applicant will be a member of the Place Development Project Team, undertaking duties to enable the effective delivery of the Place Development Project.

This project is funded through the Brilliant Barrow Town Deal, an ambitious £29 million programme to transform the town, providing new developments, improvements and opportunities for residents and visitors.

The post is offered on a part-time basis of 30 hours per week (working flexibly is a requirement of this post).

They are looking for a talented and creative Project Officer to develop, co-ordinate and implement an exciting events programme at the Dock Museum and Market Square. Working closely with key stakeholders you will be required to seek funding opportunities to enhance the events programme.

In addition, you will be required to develop feasibility studies to support future attractions and work as part of a team to ensure the project is delivered successfully.

You will be required to implement robust customer satisfaction and impact evaluations for all events; providing updates on all projects to the Town Deal Board.

The role will be varied and rewarding. You will work closely with the Head of Culture and Visitor Economy and the Events Manager to promote, market and deliver the events programme.

The successful applicant should have an academic achievement beyond GCSE level and demonstrable experience of developing and implementing project plans.

The successful candidate will be automatically enrolled in the Local Government Pension Scheme and will be required to obtain a Basic Disclosure.
