LIPA are seeking to appoint an experienced vocalist and educator to join their School of Music as a Lecturer in Music (Voice).

The post holder will directly report to Head of Music (Performance) and will teach music and related subjects to students enrolled on a range of courses as assigned by the Head of Discipline, depending on knowledge and experience, manage modules or parts of courses as required and assess students by the formal or informal methods required by external examining bodies and internal procedures. In addition, you will contribute to curriculum innovation, development and implementation, assist in the implementation of pastoral and welfare systems provided for students and continue personal and professional development in the areas of both subject knowledge and teaching methods.

The ideal candidate will have a degree or equivalent qualification, and a track record of performance and teaching voice at HE level. You will be student focussed, building a supportive and creative environment for students to develop their skills in a practice-based learning environment, with a strong commitment to preparing students for sustained employment.

National Museums Liverpool currently have the post of Marketing Officer available.

Interpretation and Digital Officer – 35 hours per week, temporary contract until September 2028

The Role

Chester Zoo now have an exciting new role for an Interpretation and Digital Officer. This role is part of the Networks for Nature project team.

Networks for Nature spans c60 square miles from the River Dee to the River Mersey, including Chester and Ellesmere Port. This is a collaborative partnership project working with Cheshire West and Chester Council, The Land Trust, Cheshire Wildlife Trust, Canal and River Trust, and Sustrans with the aim to drive nature recovery in a mixed-use landscape, creating diverse habitats for species to thrive now and for years to come. They will empower communities to have an active role in conservation action and stewardship and will focus on making nature more accessible to and inclusive for everyone to enable connection and improve wellbeing. As an Interpretation and Digital Officer, you’ll work closely and collaboratively with a wide range of in-zoo teams including the Networks for Nature project staff, Interpretation, Digital Learning, Marketing, PR, Fundraising, and will also link with the project partners. You’ll be responsible for the development of interpretation and promotional materials for the project. This will include interpretation materials at partner and community sites, resources for event activities and promotion of the project via e-newsletters, social media and other digital channels, such as the Wild Wander app.

We are seeking a forward-thinking and entrepreneurial individual to serve as Immersive Arts & Studio/Lab Lead at FACT Liverpool.

FACT has an international reputation for producing innovative, ground-breaking exhibitions featuring newly commissioned and produced artworks by artists at all stages of their careers working at the intersection of art and technology. This position will lead our thriving creative space, Studio/Lab (established in 2024), towards continued growth and increased sustainability while developing talent in immersive artworks and experiences.

Studio/Lab is a creative community experimenting with digital technologies. It serves as an incubator for immersive, sound, moving image and gamified art research and production. Studio/Lab provides members and residents with access to entry level immersive technologies, digital production tools, video editing and podcast suites, while fostering critical engagement with technology’s role in society. There are currently 35 paying artist members, working across different digital disciplines. In the last year, we’ve produced five new commissions and supported over 50 artists.

– Salary: £34,000 per annum
– Hours of work: 35 hours per week (1 FTE) and as necessary to fulfil the scope of responsibilities within the post. This may involve some weekend and evening work and hours can be flexible to accommodate this.
– Contract: Fixed-term contract for 2 years. Potential to extend subject to funding.
